How Internet Speeds In The United States Compare With The Rest Of The World

June 20th, 2014

In the summer of 2013, it was reported that internet speeds in the United States ranked 9th with the rest of the world. The average download speed was only 8.6 Mbps. Other countries like South Korea were enjoying speeds of 14.2 Mbps. And they say that it is policy and not technology that is holding the country back.
